Pictures added, not sure why they are upside down. My only explanation is that I’m in my late 30’s
Late thirties? Isn't that the generation that grew up with the Internet? I know because that's my younger sister's age and I consider her a baby still, haha

Much easier to sell stuff there without being picked apart by folks here, I suppose.
Also, it’s just easier, with how shipping is all set up, not to mention protections for both parties.
Ebay has totally shifted to buyers and sellers basically have no rights. They always side with buyers. Plus they charge you 10%

I completely agree with you @Horse2345 I hate selling on eBay because all they care about is their precious buyers.
I sold something recently and it took a while to get there due to Chump's fuckings with the post office. Tracking showed delayed/in transit but the buyer filed a claim and ebay gave them a refund!
Unfuckinbelieveable!
I emailed ebay "What happens when the item finally gets delivered?", they replied:
"Once there is a confirmation that the item was delivered, you can continue communicating with your buyer and request them to either pay for the item or send it back. We believe that polite and honest communication can resolve any trading issues."
I wrote them back You must be joking! Ebay can suck it!

my last experience on ebay was actually exactly the opposite. bought two dvd's off someone in the UK. one was correct, the other was a fucking thomas the train dvd. ebay said I had these choices:
-send the dvd back to the seller, at my shipping cost, or -keep the dvd
even sending back the dvd i wasn't going to recoup my shipping cost, even though he fucked up. i was furious.

You shouldn’t have agreed to that and asked to talk to somebody else. Its right in their policy that if item isn’t as described the seller pays for return shipping. I just bought a torque wrench that was listed as ft lbs but ended up being inch lbs, just started a claim didn’t even have to send a picture for proof, got a full refund including shipping and got to keep the wrench because seller didnt want to pay for return shipping.

The buyer protections are great, especially for things like posters that may have undisclosed damage. It forces sellers to be honest and thorough. Nothing wrong with that. Someone on here sold me a poster with several creases that he hadn't mentioned, and then ignored my messages. Not a whole lot I can do about it. On ebay I'd get a full refund.
The downside is the fees but you're reaching the widest possible audience so in general you can probably get a higher price.
