REM's "It Happened Today" has been my favorite walk up music that they've used.

They should use “Hummus,” the Yield secret track, as walk-on music. It’s perfect. Don’t think they’ve used it before.

what do you mean by this... is it just improv. I was at both wrigleys, and Boston 2018, bunch of shows 2016 and all the tours going back to 2000

    Listen to boots from 95/96
Yes, I could do that, thank you. I just don't happen to have those, and I figured I'd ask Pearl Jam friends. Is that lazy or resourceful? I mean if you know, just let me know I'd appreciate it. Don't need to make it a big secret

Not walk out music per se, but I loved the open to 2016 Ft. Lauderdale. Walked out with no music and lights on, Go cd intro, pause, lights off, and then kicked into the song.

I posted a thread after being at a great show (the last one I attended before the pandemic) and started a thread about that Pearl Jam should hit the stage to that artists/groups legendary and crowd-going-nuts intro music.

But the thread was locked, with an accusation of me trolling. Never got an explanation, excuse for or a retraction of that accusation, when I asked for a clarification of how it was trolling.

So I don't dare posting that same PURE FIRE intro music in here. But they should come out to that song at a gig in England in 2021. Just like they came out to the Rocky theme in Philly.

Or is it okey to post that intro music in this thread @Sea?
Not every thread has to be about you.
This made me laugh. Thank you

Wasn't it Interstellar Overdrive in 2000?

i love when bands have a good solid intro song. Metallica plays AC/DC Its a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll before blacking out the arena and play The Ecstasy of Gold before ripping the roof off.

I feel like ever time I see pearl jam they just stroll out and give an incredible show, even when I saw them open for the Stones

The AC/DC track to me became as much of the Metallica show as extacy of gold. You knew the wait was over a when it was played.
