Thank you Santos!  Got the St. Louis poster.  It was going to be our son's first show.  We gave him tickets for his birthday back in Feb when he turned 11.

    Right?

Usually we know one way or another by now.  Pretty frustrating.

Weird that I don't care about the new record but want a poster from a show that never happened. That's the strangest part!
  • Think about how many more posters they have to pack than usual since they sold all of them online.

Maybe there won't be a daily drop.  If there is, it would take forever to ship.

It'll take forever to ship anyway..

However, if there isn't going to be one (especially the day after surprise drops), it would be nice to get the typical heads-up.

I hope 10C doesn't overplay their hand by leaving people hanging and wasting their time. Between most of the posters not being great, there being larger than normal quantities (tour and 10C copies) and the fact that nobody was actually at the shows, people might just get bored with the whole process.

    What’s the difference?
zero difference. It's a shopify thing. Only artists will be selling VAR and AP's.

What hand are they overplaying? The posters are paid for and printed. Now they’re just selling them to whoever wants them instead of burning them behind the warehouse.

Don’t think 10C are shipping the Show editions as the shipping is about $3 lower international on them. Might be MrTsurt shipping them from NYC 🤔

How are the posters "paid for" already? They're not paid for until they're sold out and a profit is made.

Someone paid to have them printed. That's a sunk cost

That's called a business "loss" until the expense is recouped.

The assets in inventory are not losses until written off as such.

10 club bought a stack of posters from the artist > the artist has already made the direct money from the sale. 10 club then takes those posters on the road and sells them to recoup the cost. The label then takes 15% of the money made on merch.

Idk whats so hard to understand.

They do!  I just meant with the current USPS issues and delays, etc.  I think they usually use UPS, though, right?
