Brad posted here that the idea of changing a color or two didn’t really appeal to him. Not sure if they ever offered him the opportunity but it seemed that he was not interested in a variant from an artistic perspective.  

As for how they choose... I’m guessing the artist asks to do it and they either say yes or no.

How do they decide? Who knows. The Apollo show and pop up were special events so maybe that's why Williams got it. 

Veca did a run of 15 of that variant. Soto and Justin Hampton have also had variants (2011).  

I think we can put to bed the myth that only Ames gets variants.  Perhaps more accurate to say Ames is the only one who regularly gets variants.

I’m considering driving to the UPS Mail Innovations Center in Bridgeport NJ and knocking on the door to ask about my two posters they’ve had since late August.

Labels are often printed in bulk way before shipping. Did you get an email saying it had shipped or were you just checking your account and saw it there?

If you didn't get an email yet, then it has not shipped. It'll update in your order history when they print labels, but as you can see that can be weeks before it actually is rolled and shipped. You're good, just wait for that email.

Interesting to see others experiencing mail issues. Be grateful that it is still on its way

My Baltimore poster was "delivered" on 8/31. Well, it may have been delivered, but it was NOT to my house. Spoke with my mail carrier, she confirmed she didn't deliver a package that day (spoke with her that day). COntacted UPS, they said they passed it off to USPS and it's their problem. Contacted USPS, zero response BUT they did send me a survey to ask if I was satisfied with their assistance! Then tried to file a claim with USPS but was not allowed because there was no insurance on the package. Just sent off an email to Ten Club but I'm not sure what they can do, given that the poster is sold out and it's clearly not their fault. UGH!!!!

"I Voted By Mail EARLY" sticker to boot!  By the by, I don't recall reading an explanation of how Williams got permission to print his blue variant poster - usually just Ames gets to. But I still think this yellow show edition NYC is much better looking than the blue variant. Hats off to the USPS for holiday delivery!

Paid $10 for shipping on a $35 item and almost a month and nothing. The tracking is a joke. Not sure why I’m shocked, it’s like this every time, just crappy service.

Hello!

We are just emailing to update you on shipping for the postponed Pearl Jam print. Firstly thanks for your patience while we navigate the current US mailing problems, secondly we are getting close to being able to ship!

We are currently getting a new postal carrier in place, which we hope to have all set up next week, this should allow us to deliver far quicker than via the USPS. We are also going to use this for UK orders for the time being too. 

Once again, thank you for your patience, but rest assured we are just trying to make sure no prints go missing and no one is waiting for 10 weeks plus for delivery!
