Is Messi the Jordan of soccer?

As a casual US fan, I try to watch the big matches. I have seen his video highlights, and it’s like he moves the ball with Velcro on his cleats. I know he is undersized, not sure how much size plays a role for his position. I also know he is in the twilight of his career, so I’m not asking if he is the best player in the world right now. It seems to me like he revolutionized the game the way Jordan did. If any fan is also a fan of the NBA, is that the proper comparison? Also not looking for an NBA argument over Lebron or Kobe haha! Iconic.

    There is only one Jordan. If there is a "Mt. Rushmore" of biggest/best athletes/sports stars, then Mt. Jordan would be a bigger taller mountain overlooking this "Mt. Rushmore."

    And no, LaBron and Kobe would not be on said Mt. Rushmore.  =)
