Record storage!

bobear05bobear05 St. Louis Posts: 742
Started on this thing last Saturday and worked a couple of evenings during the week. Needs to be painted or stained but I had to load it up! Made all from left over birch plywood and walnut trim that they were gonna throw away at work! I don’t have anyone in the house that cares about it, thought I would share it with you people. Maybe give someone an idea for their own set up!

Wow!! Beautiful. Love the display! Mind if I ask where the boxes are from on bottom?

They are just the crosley record storage boxes. I’m sure amazon has them.

That looks so cool. I wish I had a setup like that for mine. Most of my setup is from Ikea, boxes and shelving units. This is a thing of beauty though, and as was said above, all the better that you constructed it yourself. I like all of the stickers (or are they drawings?) of the band logos.

Awesome. Now the real question, do you have a system for how you catalogue your records, are they alphabetical, or just whatever fits in wherever?

Alphabetical across the top. The cases are just grouped by bands for the most part

Amazing!  Thanks for sharing here, we definitely appreciate it and all it's glory.  Great idea on the Crosley storage cases, think I might steal that idea and get one to store my vinyl
