Who knows at this point in time? It's going to take a lot of investigation, including reviewing security footage from cameras on the surrounding buildings. Hopefully we'll learn when the ladder was placed there and by whom, and if the shooter stashed his weapon there beforehand or just rolled up with it the morning of the shooting. It appears obvious that President Trump's Secret Service advance team did not do a very thorough inspection of the area, either earlier in the week or on the morning of the rally.mcgruff10 said:
