So I’m just curious if the Democrats will now push for federal marijuana legalization.  Marijuana prohibition is one of the biggest systematic racism policies in the United States right now.  I think it is evil to lock people up for petty marijuana offenses, but Harris was pretty complicit in it.  Federal legalization would go a long way in reducing systematic racism, since Black people and minorities are way over represented in that area.
I would like nothing more than the Democrat party to embrace a policy position like this, along with full exhortation for anyone currently or previously incarcerated for t he crime of possessing or selling Colorado cabbage.
It is the right, non-evil, anti-racist thing to do.

Needs to happen..There are abc stores and micro breweries everywhere..,,far more dangerous than weed..Taxes could go a long way towards schools, roads, etc...I have been a functional stoner since 9th grade..I dont drink or do harder drugs other than cigarettes so I don't buy into the gateway drug bullshit.  Treat it like alcohol and to each their own

Kind of bummed seeing a lot of bickering here this morning.  Think I'll join the "take me outside" party.

Well, there's actually a tiny bit of snow on the ground.  Maybe I'll bump up the heat a tad and have another cup of coffee instead.
what did i say yesterday? the left won and it wouldn't take long for them to start eating each other from within. it took a day. a day. and it's already on display here.

Wow. Covid really is gone after the election.
Yeah the parties yesterday were horrifying in that regard. We celebrated at home and then found a quiet park to walk the dog in.

Speaking of, I am getting the "Stop arguing on the fucking internet and take me outside" look.

That! Is a great looking doggie!

if there’s a list, is there a line and a sharpie? And should we bring a sharpie when we go to get in line?

Yeah, disagreeing is one thing (and discussion from varying viewpoints can be constructive and useful) but endless bickering and being nasty is another thing and not useful at all.  Quite the opposite, really.

And I'm not saying I'm perfect.  I have been guilty as charged, but being here over the years has helped temper my approach- at least I hope so!

I love how I should take "rope, tree, press" shirt seriously but not the evil stuff.  Or the database.
Haha, I thought the same. I think that shirt is in poor taste, but still I chuckled when reading the responses because you only have to go back a few posts to see people saying anyone who voted for Trump should be thrown in a lava pit among other ways of killing anyone who disagrees with their point of view,  and that’s normal.
To my knowledge journalists, in general, do not actictly support and condone evil shit.

The T-1000 did, and he went into the pit.

    This place is great.
Now that there is nothing to sort of unite the people who hate Trump and the people who pretend they hate Trump any conversation can again devolve into ridiculous bickering.
