Old school because I'm old, man>LOL

It just shows how old I am when I first started to get into music. Had a older brother and that's what some of the music he was listening to back then.

These have my attention at the moment.

When your number isn't up - Mark Lanegan
    Tighter and tighter- Soundgarden
    DOTCV - PJ
    Haunt - BRMC

anything of Dino Jr's Hand It Over
Wow on Haunt. What a great song. For BRMC i would say Howl, Shuffle your Feet, Devils Waiting, Red Eyes and Tears, Beat the Devils Tattoo are my top 5.
Whenever it comes on I just have to stop what I'm doing.

Seems to be some interest in the early Black Rebel stuff here. Sure As The Sun is, one of, my favorate on the first album.

I bought their second album when it came out but the music wasn't my speed.  That was when the Brooklyn bands were emerging and everyone was slowing down.

I was looking for things to be sped up.  Enter Jane Doe...

Nice to see a few of you list “Let Down” here. Probably my favourite song from any band.
(Don’t worry, PJ likely occupies the next nine spots!)

Lanegan's voice was never so deep than when he was singing in queens.

His voice on This Lullaby was what got me into his solo stuff.

I heard some of his solo stuff and he isn't my cup o tea.  I also don't own the QOTSA albums with him singing so lets see if I like those but I did like Songs for the deaf.

The three songs he sang on the reissue of Mad Season's Above are also well worth checking out, if you have not done so already.
