A list that would change for me often, but at the moment:

    Dinosaur Jr:  "Plans"
    The Dream Syndicate:  "Glide"
The Jimi Hendrix Experience: "Bold as Love"
The Replacements: "Left of the Dial"
Neil Young and Crazy Horse:  "Loose Change"
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Nice to see a few of you list “Let Down” here. Probably my favourite song from any band.
(Don’t worry, PJ likely occupies the next nine spots!)

Lanegan's voice was never so deep than when he was singing in queens.

His voice on This Lullaby was what got me into his solo stuff.

I heard some of his solo stuff and he isn't my cup o tea.  I also don't own the QOTSA albums with him singing so lets see if I like those but I did like Songs for the deaf.

The three songs he sang on the reissue of Mad Season's Above are also well worth checking out, if you have not done so already.
