Why Sad but True?  For such a huge catalog, why that song?

Mainly cause the Black album was the first Metallica album I got and when i listened to it Sad but True was my favorite song off the album. Then I heard it on MTV a few months later and was shocked and happy that MYV was playing it and they made a video for it and it was a single

Old school because I'm old, man>LOL

It just shows how old I am when I first started to get into music. Had a older brother and that's what some of the music he was listening to back then.

Whenever it comes on I just have to stop what I'm doing.

Seems to be some interest in the early Black Rebel stuff here. Sure As The Sun is, one of, my favorate on the first album.

I bought their second album when it came out but the music wasn't my speed.  That was when the Brooklyn bands were emerging and everyone was slowing down.

I was looking for things to be sped up.  Enter Jane Doe...
