Shout out to the die hards

Every time I log onto this forum I'm amazed at the level of dedication that some of you seem to put in.  I've been listening to PJ since Ten was first out (quick sidenote my 13 yr old self described the cover as 5 guys raising their arms at a 45 degree angle together to my father not realizing that sounds like Nazis), seen them 5 or 6 times, in the 10c, hell even have the stickman tat (new as of 2019) but I could never apply the level of effort some of you do.  But I know why you do, just last week I heard a lyric on Vs seemingly for the first time.  It was that light bulb moment where something I've heard thousands of time and skipped over as a teen now registered as an adult.  Whenever someone gives me a hard time about being a fan (always the same age range it seems, 45-49) I just point to the 10c, the foundations, and the top notch fan base as proof that this band is something special.

In case anyone is wondering there are different levels of official diehardness. But all are based on 2 things....
    1. How many different official recordings you have with Dirty Frank on them.
    2. How many different pairs of official PJ socks you have.

I would err on the side of caution whilst dealing with #2, such a diehard would be off center and most difficult to get along with...

I love this thread.  See, there's a balance, I'm a diehard, many shows under my belt, post count under 10,000.  There are lots of us out there, watch out . . . we could be your local grocer, the man who cuts your lawn, picks up your trash, cuts your hair.   You just never KNOW.  We're out there amongst the regular folk.
