In celebration of the release of Gigaton Live (Tour Edition), Pearl Jam has released a new music video for the Gigaton track “Quick Escape”, directed by Samuel Bayer.
Really cool video. This song has grown on me a lot after hearing the bootlegs. There are a handful from Gigaton I dismissed at first listen but have come to really like. Quick Escape, Retrograde, River Cross, SBWM, DOC. It's a stronger record than I gave it credit for being initially.

Pearl Jam Links with Samuel Bayer for the First Time in New Video for ‘Gigaton’ Standout “Quick Escape”
Samuel Bayer is the man responsible for many of the most memorable and iconic music videos of the past few decades — including Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” Blind Melon‘s “No Rain” and other videos with artists including Green Day, Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones and many more. Until now, though, he hadn’t linked up with Pearl Jam.
The pairing finally happened for “Quick Escape,” a track featured on Pearl Jam’s 2020 album, Gigaton, which the band is finally able to promote on a world tour after a lengthy delay caused by the pandemic (read our review of one of their Los Angeles shows here).
