I have so many Billy book cases in different sizes and configurations! It's a great basic bookcase.

I normally work from home/planes so already have a good spot carved out.
(Even if it is a mess right now...)
And including the little wall spot in the entry since I believe I saw these hanging in someone else's office... @myoung321

As part of homeschooling, our children are learning useful phrases such as "fuck off," "get the fuck out" and "shut the fuck up."

It's been great so far. Really really great.

That home office needs some blue and gold!

Yeah, sorry, no ND stuff, although I do have 49ers/Montana stuff in there, so ND is represented.

Cardinal...I thought that's where the smart kids went up in Palo Alto.

Yeah, Montana is a pretty damned good representation. Okay, the home office is acceptable.

I'm kinda digging working from home. It's been nice to work in pajamas, do some things around the house in between, and have lunch with my gf every day.  For the first time in my life, I have a quiet office with a nice view. I've been able to play more records, not worrying about the music being too loud. I've been more productive for work since I'm able to accomplish more in life overall in a day. It doesn't seem like a burden, and I don't feel like I'm waiting around on the clock all day long.  As a bonus, I've been able to finally push us more toward a paperless environment since we can't use it right now. I always thought I needed the structure of driving to a separate building, being around other people for a set period of time each day, etc.  I'm a very routine person, but I feel like this is how work should be.  It's a good work/life balance and it actually makes my (what I thought to be pitiful) salary seem more worthwhile.
Too bad they won't let me do this permanently.

This is a window into my husband working from home. My husband...shorts no matter what the temperature.

We have had lunch and dinner together everyday. It's been nice.

Some cool photos here, folks.  Thanks for sharing.

Here's some of my work space at home-- only right now everything is on hold as we shelter at home and being without work is a major bummer.  I really look forward to getting back to it!

That's a good question.  The photos are in my garage which I converted to an at-home bookstore.  At one point, my inventory at home was about 10,000, but as I get older and less active with work I've culled it down to probably around 6,000 books and my own library probably has around 2,000 to 3,000.  And my wife has lots of books at home, particularly her cookbooks which number somewhere around 2,000.  We do like books.

LOL, sort of.  No, I'm a used book dealer and my wife has a used bookstore (I strain to not say  "was" and "had", I hope it gets up and running again one of these days!)

Pretty messy at the moment, but I've been working in the home studio down the basement and the setup works pretty well. If I ever need to take a break, I just plug in one of my guitars for a few.

The wall color....is it a painted textured wall that is only painted one color or is there a darker color over top? Love the workspace!
