Somebody said one of mine: "I suggest you step out on your porch... Run away my son... See it all... Oh see the world"

    But my number one is:
    "I remember when yeah,
I swore I knew everything oh yeah,
Let's say knowledge is a tree yeah,
It's growing up just like me"

There are many lyrics that are great, that I really love and are always on my mind, but my favorites ones are :

Better man - the whole song; to me, that's one of the best songs Eddie has ever written!
Black - "...I hope someday you'll have a beautiful life / I know you'll be a star in somebody else's life / but why can't it be in mine? "
I am mine - "I know I was born and I know that i'll die / The in between is mine / I am mine" (the whole song is amazing, but this part ... wow!)
Given to fly - "And he still gives his love, he just gives it away /and the love he receives is the love that is saved / and sometimes is seen a strange spot in the sky / a human being that was given to fly"
RVM - the whole song, the lyrics are very passionate and we can feel what's been said.
Corduroy - "I don’t want to take what you can give / I would rather starve than eat your bread / All the things that others want for me / Can’t buy what I want because it’s free..."
Wishlist - the whole song is really nice.

Maybe these are not the best ones, but I definitely like them!

    I had a false belief
I thought I came here to stay
    We're all just visiting
    All just breaking like waves
The oceans made me, but who came up with love?
Push me, pull me, push me, or pull me out
Push me, pull me, or pull me out

So if there were no angels, would there be no sin?
You better stop me before I begin
But let me say: if I behave, can you arrange a spacious hole
    in
    the ground
    Somewhere nice, make it nice
Where the land meets high tide
Push me, pull me, or pull me out
    Push me, pull me

    Like a cloud dropping rain
    I'm discarding all thought
I'll dry up, leaving puddles on the ground
I'm like an opening band for the sun
    Push me, pull me
I've had enough, said enough, felt enough, I'm fine, still in
    it

It Makes Much More Sense To Live In The Present Tense. I love that song so much!

......if i don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane, with the power to maintain........

I'm with Chrissy! Present Tense is a wonderful deep inspiring song. I often refer in my head to it when I'm putting life into perspective. Makes much more sense.....

I totally just used this in a conversation with a non pearl jam fan and they were like '"I've never heard such a thing that made so much sense!"

"Seek my part, devote myself, my small self, like a book amongst the many on the self"

"Sorry is the fool who trades his soul for a Corvette, He thinks he'll get the girl he'll only get the mechanic"
