    They all had to agree. I'd think all five should have their names signing off 

    Unless giga is featuring a name change... Ed and the Jammers

    I think they wanted us to know that a person in the band wrote this.  It was meant to be personal versus signing just Pearl Jam.  Adding PJ means that Ed was speaking for the band.

    I just saw a friend of mine who went to HS with Jeff and he said Jeff texted him this weekend and told him they were in “meetings” all day Friday discussing the “tour”. Pearl Jam is a “business” and every move is calculated. My opinion is it sounds more “personal” putting Ed’s name with the band. It was obviously calculated to wait for the two festivals to drop before postponing northeast for financial reasons. My friend did say Jeff said something to the affect “hold your horses” in regards to no tour at all so that’s good news I guess.

    The best way for it to sound more personal would have been for it to be signed:
    Ed, Jeff, Stone, Mike & Matt.

    Then we could have debated the significance of the order of the names.
