They're singularly focused on getting us those two missing annual singles.
This guy wins the forum again.

In 1992, Victoria Williams was a talented singer-songwriter
with a big problem: diagnosed with multiple sclerosis as she started
gaining widespread exposure, she had no health insurance to cover her
treatment costs. Within a year, an army of fans and friends, including
Pearl Jam, Soul Asylum, Lou Reed, The Jayhawks and Giant Sand, recorded
favorites from her songbook for Sweet Relief. That same year, the Sweet
Relief Musicians Fund was established to offer funds for any musician in
need of care. For the first time, this landmark album is available on
vinyl to once again remind music lovers of the need for fair, affordable
medical treatment for everyone.
Soul Asylum “Summer Of Drugs”,
Lucinda Williams “Main Road”, Pearl Jam “Crazy Mary”, Buffalo Tom “Merry
Go Round”, Michael Penn “Weeds”, Shudder To Think “Animal Wild”, Lou
Reed “Tarbelly And Featherfoot”, Maria McKee “Opelousas (Sweet Relief)” ,
Matthew Sweet “This Moment”, Evan Dando “Frying Pan”, The Jayhawks
“Lights”, The Waterboys “Why Look At The Moon”, Giant Sand “Big Fish”,
Michelle Shocked “Holy Spirit”
no official PJ RSD release (according to the UK list)
And on the USA list which blows my mind though they did release MTV Unplugged back on Black Friday RSD 2019. Maybe they are saving the next exclusive vinyl release at the 10club store.
RECORD STORE DAY IS SOCIAL DISTANCING! 😀 2020 is different. So what we're doing this year is going to be different too. No
one knows what kind of party we'll all be in the mood for, or able to
hold safely, at any time this year, in any part of the world. So we're
focusing this year not on the party aspect of Record Store Day, but on
getting the great releases on the RSD 2020 List into your local record
store, and then into your collection. RSD DROPS! Three street dates
when titles from The List will be available only at participating indie
record stores. We're working on getting the new version of The List --
with new RSD Drops dates -- all nice and pretty for you. Look for that
on the Record Store Day site on June 1. #RSDDrops#RSD2020#RSD20#recordstoreday#ShopIndie ##socialdistancing#2020iswack#recordstores#recordstoresarecool#loverecordstores
So.. they're going to make people lineup 3 times for RSD? RSD seems the opposite of social distancing. Release cool new vinyl on a specific date in limited quantities. It causes people to wait in lines and then once the store opens to become pretty crowded.
Luckily there wasn't much I wanted from the RSD list this year. Maybe I'll be able to find sweet relief online.

That's pretty much the only title I'm ISO on that RSD '20 list. The Sweet Relief vinyl. That's it. Maybe they will update the list with newer titles? Newer Pearl Jam related titles? Who knows. Let's see what will go down on June 1st.
Unless there are production/shipping issues, why not get these to stores sooner and let them sell online and get the boost? Kinda like what Isbell is doing. I'm sure there are probably complicating factors, but still.

I just got back into Vinyl again recently, so this will be my first RSD. After looking at the list, Sweet Relief is the only one I got excited about. I have had the CD since it came out new. There is only one RSD store less than 2 hours from where I live, so I am hoping they get a copy or two.

TBH, this is probably the most fair way to do it. Push it far enough away where stores will be open. Break it up to reduce crowds.
But if I'm being honest, I'm happy this is the first year where I really only have interest in 3-4 records. So I'll just buy them online.
Same here. Gonna be a long wait but very much worth it.
