    There's a great doc on Netlix just about drummers. So far it's got everyone but Lars and Matt C on there (that's alive) and it's fascinating.

    Sirens came over my playlist this morning adn I wonder, does this song go the way of hte dodo? There aren't many songs that were heavily in rotation that just drop off completely. The Fixer, Word Wide Suicide (but people request that one) are on the same list but I don't see Sirens making a return to the rotation.

    Anyone ever listen to The Stone Roses, they were The Verve before The Verve. Only one real album and it's a knock out. Almost like early R.E.M.

    I had shuffle on yesterday and "Shelter from the Storm," "Yellow Ledbetter" and "My Hometown" came on and it struck me how those songs don't have a period you can pin them to. Their sound has a timeless quality that says it wasn't made today or yesterday, it just is and/or always has been.

    I knew the band would give us some Gigaton but I love how much they're leaning into the album. It makes me very excited for some 2022 arena shows and full sets. Yes, I'm being hopeful and a little bump for the Apollo.

    Been spending a lot of time with album cuts from all sorts of bands. There is something to be said of artists that make timeless music and how the albums really justify that timeless aspect.

    Ohana sounds like a blast. Whoever Said needs to be in regular rotation. I would love to see these Gigaton heavy shows. I hope the audiences are eating it up.

    Been to 16 shows over 23 years and I’ve never had a fast uptempo opening. Closest thing is Severed Hand but that’s more of tempo. I love the slow burn but a burner would be cool T some point.

    It's so interesting to see these truncated fest sets with so many Gigaton songs. I love it, but man it really is a few deep cuts, Gigaton and hits. It's just a new iteration of the band we love.

    Gigaton has legs! I still love these songs and  excited to see once this tour goes around how a rounded out setlist of new and old meshes. That first 30 song set is going to be electric.
