If we were living in the 21st century, which many bands have stepped into (albeit reluctantly), Pearl Jam would know the value of their unique product (like Phish, like D&C, etc) and try to capitalize off of it by offering fans AT LEAST HD Audio of EACH show they can..
Wasn't that the spirt of the MonkeyWrench and Radio broadcasts? Can't make it/afford it? Tune it. What happened to that?
I guess i prefered the ramshackle nature of MW radio. XM is great, but it all kinda bleeds together at some point and it feels kinda sterile.
I gave my answer.

Fans did not get wise to them really until pretty much the november shows, I am rusty on the facts, but I don't think any recordings of the pre and post shows in 1995 were taped prior to November.
That was the real deal. The big one off events, Self Pollution in January 1995 and Monkeywrench in January 1998 were interesting, but the road stuff was more completely DIY and wild.
Sirius has gotten a lot better in the last couple of years. But I would like to see the band give whether its Rob or someone else a little more latitude and perhaps play some exclusive pre 2000 concerts that maybe they are certain will not be full on vault releases (packaged for vinyl) and then subsequently release those under a separate umbrella. Fuck make them like a 50/50 with the Vitalogy foundation and I would buy them all.
