* today, on my 11th attempt dialing it immediately rang and he picked up after about 4 rings and just said Hello. Didnt tell me if i won or not. I asked him if i was caller 22 and he said Maybe, have a few questions to ask you first.
* asked me basic questions- age, address, DOB, can i be in NYC on 3/26, etc
* I must have dialed PJ Radio 500plus times over the last two weeks.  average 30 tries per play.  I didn't give up until about 3 min after i would see someone post on here they were caller 21 or that they won. 
* as of now, my brother is my plus one. He took 16 year old me to my first show- Randall's island 96 and created this obsession.

Here’s what I do not understand I dialed at least that many times and I never even got a single number I don’t know what’s up with my connection

@SVRDhand13 All my calls have been on my iphoneX AT&T.  My service isn't the greatest. Good Luck! Plenty of more opportunities to win.

Thank you. I’ve been calling from a landline (after the first week) and from an iPhone Verizon every single time. I’m not giving up!

Yeah ive tried landline, two cellphones at once, etc.  Satellite sometimes.  App others.  Just cant get someone to even give me a number LOL.  Im trying like 75x on every phone.  

I love when people post here right after they won tho.  It’s exciting.  Lets you feel like you have a shot.

This is amazing / love reading the entire playbook. Mine was similar but I won pretty early on (maybe second day of “Go”) but still love reading all the commitment stories. Well done and see you at the show!  Jealous you were at Randall’s. Epic sets. I was offered tickets to Lolla 92 at Jones Beach by a middle school friend (and her older brother) and my parents said NO!  I’ll never forgive them but cheers to older brothers with good taste in music!

Listening Tips:

• Online and satellite listeners have both won. They seem to start taking callers at online start time.
• Online starts to play 2-2.5 minutes after satellite.
• Satellite listeners have graciously posted here when the song starts. F5 is your friend.
• A short promo for the contest typically plays before the song of the week is aired.
• There is typically about 1 hour between each plays. new

Dialing Tips:

• When dialing, if you hear "all circuits are busy", "your call can not be completed", or get a standard busy signal, hang up and call again. Otherwise, wait! updated
  
• Fans that have gotten through have reported dead air or hearing background music.
• They don't announce the winner on air (except during the FF), but many have been trying for 10-15 minutes before giving up.

Please answer a basic question for me bc at this point my head hurts from trying so hard to get Baltimore in F2F and trying to figure out how I might get tix to the Apollo.  I let my Sirius subscription lapse.  If I get an online subscription now am I eligible for the call in tix or are those only for subscribers as of Jan whatever too?  Is it worth it as I know that the online programming lags a few seconds behind the radio broadcast?

You had to have an active subscription as of Jan 22 to be eligible.

I’m afraid you aren’t eligible if you were not a subscriber since Jan 22 (they will check). I won on Wednesday 2/12 and got a confirmation email on Friday 2/21. I think they submit the winners from the week on Friday and it took a week to verify eligibility, etc.

Unfortunately, I don't think you are eligible. Pulled this from the rules.

Thanks guys. That was my understanding of the rules as well. I felt the need to double check just in case I was wrong. I’m sure that I am no more deserving of anyone else in this thread, however, if anyone needs a +1... I’m a very nice person. I’m a mom and a healthcare professional who doesn’t drink or smoke anything.  I’m a dedicated stander in lines so if you needed merch from any show I’m attending in the future I’d be standing in that line to get that merch for you.
