I'm sure there are A LOT of people calling in. No surprise some of us aren't getting through. Let's keep trying, still more changes to win. Positive, positive!

Man how the hell are u guys even getting through to be told what number you are?? Lol. Been trying for a week and a half it seems and ive gotten the endless ringing one time.

Before today I’ve tried almost every day with the same results as you. Today I got through twice, including to the heart-pumping experience of having music playing in the background. Keep at it. Hope is still Alive!

     =)
^^Good to know. Like @cp3iverson I'm coming up all zeros. Collectively, over the singles and pairs given out to date, I've tried to phone in 1000+ times and have yet to connect. Gonna keep trying tho :lucky:   :transformer:

Good morning! Another day, another chance to win. Here's a quick briefing for today.

Song of the week: Alive (original studio or 2009 remix)
Call in window: 5 pm - 10 pm EST
    Chances to win: 2
    Number: 855-973-2755

Note: Jack Johnson guest host show is on at 5 pm EST. Reported on the board that he didn't play Alive, so both plays will be after that ends (~5:45 - 6 pm EST).

    Tips:
    • Online and satellite listeners have both won. They seem to start taking callers at online start time.
    • Online starts to play 2-2.5 minutes after satellite.
    • Satellite listeners have graciously posted here when the song starts. F5 is your friend.
    • A short promo for the contest typically plays before the song of the week is aired.
    • When dialing, if you hear "all circuits are busy" or get a standard busy signal, hang up and call again. Otherwise, wait!
    • Fans that have gotten through have reported dead air or hearing background music.
    • They don't announce the winner on air (except during the FF), but many have been trying for 10-15 minutes before giving up.
    Good luck everyone!

These 5-10 windows are cruel, especially on Fridays.

This is essentially the attitude I'm trying to adopt toward the Apollo show itself. It's not really going that well.

I’m almost at the point of acceptance... almost. It just hurts to know the venue is close to my house.
