I called the longer #, it works. Actually got thru and was told I was caller #1 .....so damn close!
The longer number works because you’ve already dialed the actual number by the time you’re entering the last 2 digits. Come on people. Phone numbers are a set amount of digits. No more, no less. It’s a vanity number to make it easier to remember.
But, as we learned earlier, if you don’t dial the “1” first you wind up calling Cambodia. I feel bad for the poor folks who have that number in Cambodia. “What’s a Pearl Jam??”
You can go ahead and feel bad for them, or you can look at it as a tremendous opportunity.
"Congratulations, you're the 22nd caller, you're going to see Pearl Jam at the Apollo! Just need to verify a few things, so please provide the email address associated with your Sirius subscription, your phone number, home address, social security number, routing & account number for your checking account, mother's maiden name and name of your first pet. Enjoy the show!"
Holy shit. It’s perfect! A Nigerian Prince scam, but the victims call you willingly!
I really, really hope that they don’t catch onto this. Yikes.
Honestly, if I got through and someone told me I won and asked for my SSN, I'd probably give it to them.

They actually will ask for it for tax purposes (but not over the phone)
I also posted this question in the other "PJ at the Apollo" topic.... Does anyone know if invitations from SiriusXM will go out only to paid subscribers or are those in a trial period also eligible to receive an invitation? I am not referring to entering to win tickets through the various contests. I am referring to invitations based on subscriber profiles, location, etc.

Not 100% sure but I think it said your had to be a subscriber by a certain date in January. I think it’s a safe bet they’re not giving away tickets to people who don’t pay for the service.

For anyone that was able to enter online, was there some sort of confirmation e-mail received from Sirius after you entered?
Just a screen saying thanks for entering. I didn't get an email confirm.
Same here, although I've gone back and tried to register again and gotten the error message that I can only enter once, so apparently it went through.
Both my wife and my friend (who answered trivia correctly) got emails asking to confirm their email addresses and I didn’t get one (and I answered the question wrong). I chatted with Sirius too and they said there was no record of my submission, but I also can’t submit again (or amend submission). I’m thinking my friend and wife both got the emails because the Sirius accounts are in spouse’s names. Honestly who knows and the odds on this are insane anyway.
Trying to call today was tough - hoping for better luck tomorrow!
Every time they went to renew and they offer me a new higher price I would threaten to close my account and then I would ask for a manager and he would approve my rate(again). Every year this happened...
Had to cancel one year when they tried to prove I needed them...I got an email 2 months later at the rate I needed.
Don't have sirius now but had it for years and I miss it. FM kills me dead now. I can't do it...

Thanks for answering this. I answered it correctly and got that e-mail to confirm my e-mail address which inadvertently got removed from a spam folder. Just not sure if the confirmation e-mail is directly related to continuing with the entry. Now frantically trying to recover that e-mail through Outlook, which is so friggin difficult...
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

I've gotten half-off for years now. Unfortunately, I need everything, so I can't qualify for other offers.
Funnily enough, I've picked up two Amazon Dot Echo devices for free the last two years I've called in for my year for half-off.

To all those worried about your entries, would you spend this much thought on a $1 powerball ticket? The odds may not be the same, but newsflash, you ain’t winning regardless.
My alexa and stream on the computer are on a 2 minute and 45 second delay compared to the sirius channel in my truck. so I literally have to be driving around for the next five hours to have a shot of winning. not cool.

I just checked and I have the same difference. Which means we won’t even have a chance to win 🤦♂️

I think somebody called Sirius and they said they’d start counting the calls at a random point in the song, but (a) not sure we can trust that and (b) even if it’s true, those of us not in our cars would only have a chance it that random point was in the last 30 seconds of the call. Would be more sensible if for half the days they took the calls on “car start time” and half on “non car start time”.
