I think you are missing a big gap between the CAN and USA shows.
I don’t know anything but 3/26 was the rumor for the Sirius XM show when the rest of the tour dates were at the rumor stage and most of those ended up being right. There wasn’t a firm rumor of where it would be held. With the album being released on 3/27 there is a certain logic to 3/26 as well. No clue how one gets tickets to that but it’s probably very limited.

My guess is Colbert filming + sirius show on 28th similar to how they did Letterman with Avocado. Late night hosts film two episodes on Thursday usually. Doing “two nights” of Colbert would also explain the rumor of them doing two SNL’s which seems unlikely.

IIRC from other recent album launch shows (The National and Racontuers, two other bands whose clubs I belong to) in NYC, the announcements/ticket draws happen really close to the show. Like, within a week. I don’t expect to hear anything about this until mid/late March. I do expect some fantastic meltdowns on this board over people who miss out on a 0.01% chance at a lottery in the best case scenario (for the Racs it wasn’t even a lottery, just the first 50 people to respond to an email - this board might burn down).
