Bit the bullet on a Vitalogy pair for Baltimore. When the F2F exchange opens on Tuesday I'm either going to feel really good or really bad about myself.
Two shows down, one to go. See you all in the Apollo thread/group panic attack in a few hours.
Saw a pair of Vitalogy tix for Nashville today for $1,750 each.

I was gonna buy the Baltimore ticket and it sold before I was able to.
Dammit.
It's still showing up - I'd keep at it until it says "sold out" again. Took me a bunch of tries earlier to get a pair. At this level there's a good chance that someone puts it in the cart and then gets cold feet.
Msg ticket is now $2,006 for vitalogy foundation. Wow
$2300+ with fees. Crazy.
You buy it? I know you got the money.
Compared to that Euro trip? Pennies.
I really like Rage's approach with charity tickets to fight scalping. As much as it's for a good cause $2300+ just seems excessive.
How can charity be excessive? I liked it better when I skipped all your posts
My opinion is not in reference to the good and important work charities perform
But no, obviously nothing bad can happen by enticing fans desperate to experience this event, to give beyond their means to attend a rock concert designed to be more exclusive than it needed to be
It must be a nice feeling when commenters can circumvent the forum rules. As long as they do not question their own loyalties.
Will there be anymore normal priced ticket drops? Sorry but no band is worth these prices.
Speaking as someone who just dropped a bundle on Vitalogy tickets, I’d say that I paid about face value for the tickets themselves, and all the extra money I paid was in exchange for not having to keep spending excessive amounts of my time & energy obsessively checking Ticketmaster, trying to figure out the F2F exchange, scouring this forum for intel about ticket drops, and generally worrying about how I’m going to get into the show for the next 6 weeks. And that’s definitely worth the price.

Lot of true to this. Time is money for a lot of us.

Peace of mind ain't cheap! Congrats on the tickets

I can see that point of view and I’m happy you got tix. For me I’m paying face for as many shows as I can this year (which might just be MSG and then Waiting for the fall leg).
I would really just like to know if it’s worth checking or literally every ticket from here on out will be charity.
Every ticket on TM will be charity from here on out.
I bit the bullet for St Louis charity weeks ago for $750. My thought....couldn’t find an extra on here, it’s for a good cause, tax write off, and solidified my traveling plans before flights and hotels went up.
I’m also one of the rare ones that won GA for MSG, won reserved Nashville, and had a friend get through for Baltimore on the public sale with no queue. I felt like I owed the band a donation. If I wasn’t going to any show, and got no luck on F2F, I would spend the $2k on MSG for charity. Or spend $500-600 in the 200s as long as it’s not higher than row 15

Wow you are going to have one hell of a spring tour!

There are some people here who seem to believe based on prior experience that there will be limited face value ticket drops on or around the day of the show. I’ve never done that sort of thing before so I have no idea how likely or unlikely it is. But at least until very close to show time I think your only option for face will be the F2F exchange.

Thanks! I honestly forgot about F2F exchange. Maybe that’s the way to go. In years past I would beg the board for a single to a show but now my wife is a big fan too and she won’t accept that 😜
