So people experiencing this 2nd wave.
You notice hospitals filling up? New temporary hospitals popping up?
This all happened in NY during the first go around so I am curious if this is happening elsewhere if the hospital's are truly filling up.

My province is at the bottom. NB at 0.33 and ND is at the top with 178.4. We have roughly 777K in our province which is almost identical to North Dakota which has 762K. Land wise ND is much bigger almost doubling us. Fargo/Motorhead has 238K as its densest population area and our largest Greater Moncton which has 155K. Yes we are both very small when comparing to the big provinces and states out there but still this is a very interesting comparison to me since I always though population density was the major reason we did not have a lot of cases.
Aside from ND have a denser population in one of its major cities what is the difference between us and them? These stats are from mid November but have had only 7 deaths and they have had over 1000. Over 600 cases here and over 83,000 in ND. Those are not even close. I think if we compared lockdowns/mask wearing in each area it would tell us a lot of what works and what does not with this virus.Post edited by PJNB on0 -

When I last had a stay at “my” hospital, it was at the height of the virus and they had around 45 patients. I haven’t read anything about beds filling up here yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they well exceed that amount around or shortly after the new year.Merkin Baller said:

I read a report last week that ICU beds northeast of Boston were at 100% capacity, & a friend of my wife’s who is a nurse at Mass General is getting reassigned from her usual spot at Mass Eye & Ear to the Covid ICU (again... she was there in the spring too)... scary shit.hedonist said:
