A couple of things to be anxious about re: SafeTix
I have no shortage of gratitude for everything ten club does. So let me say that at the outset.
Two things that concern me about the new SafeTix program:

Two things that concern me about the new SafeTix program:
- The barcode refreshes every few seconds, which means that clogged cellular networks will result in chaos at the entry doors. I'm curious about past uses of SafeTix, whether there were network issues and how they dealt with them.
- Re: reserved seats in the "better" sections, I picture tons of people trying to squeeze in saying that their friend has their ticket (wink wink). Or do we get some kind of paper receipts for each ticket to avoid interlopers? The last PJ show I went to the ushers were out to lunch and there were twice as many people in my row than there were seats, which sucked. But that was the St. Paul arena's fault.

Good god.
I mean really? I should not fall for the trolling but man is there anything anyone wants to complain about otherwise.
I got front row tickets to the PJ show at MSG but I don't get it, Eddie did not look at me and shake my hand and thank me for being a fan. I mean what the fuck is up with that. I have been a fan since their first album ( that sold millions and millions of copies ) I would think Eddie would at least drop me a few 100 bucks out of his pocket.
Seriously it should not get to me but I got shut out of the lottery and I am not even upset , In fact I get if you are upset but why oh why do you think the internet cares at all.

“Safetix” Shift Leaves Hundreds Locked Out of Black Keys Show
INDUSTRYMUSICTOP STORY September 20, 2019 Sam Pocker
Hundreds of fans were left outside of the first Black Keys’ show in five years, after being told their tickets were not valid when they were scanned for entry. Apparently, promoters had shifted to using Ticketmaster’s “Safetix” system – which features barcodes that rotate on a timer to disable the possibility of sending a screenshot of the tickets to friends or after a sale – and made the tickets non-transferrable.
Consumers who had purchased tickets through the secondary ticket market were left on the outside as the band performed, presumably to a half-full building at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
“Our StubHubs aren’t working,” one fan told LA’s CBS2. “We paid full value for our tickets, and they’re not letting us in.”
Fans locked out took to social media to complain about the fiasco in progress. Many complained that the shift to the “Safetix” system was done at the last minute and without customers being informed of the potential that the tickets wouldn’t work.
Ticketmaster told CBS2 that the tickets sold were “for fans and not transferable,” which directly contradicts what some fans have reported.
However, the event page on Live Nation’s website does not appear to hold any such disclosures of any kind. It is unclear where the supposed disclosures were located for consumers at this time.
At the end of the day, fans seem to be directing a lot of the blame at the band itself, for allowing a debacle where hundreds of fans were turned away at the gate simply for purchasing tickets for a sold out show on a marketplace that wasn’t Ticketmaster.
It is also another black eye for “Safetix,” which has received largely negative press based on consumer reactions to the new system where it has been rolled out. Fans at Penn State University have complained about issues getting into games, and NFL stadiums have seen massive entry delays as well under the new digital-only system. All in the name of “convenience” and in service of the fans, according to their marketing of the new system.

While Pearl Jam does use the word "non-transferable", they could have been much clearer in distinguishing that they have disabled this SafeTix feature.
I do apologize for you voicing a concern , I think the past couple of days have been nothing but negative comments. I feel it goes from I love this band , why don't they tour , were is the new album to why is the tour sold out and I did not get in? Lottery Sucks? Why do they still use Ticketmaster? Ect ect.
After reading the article someone posted It seemed to effect everyone whom went thru Stubhub that day for tickets. Since the barcode changes ever few seconds and they screen shot them the tickets , therefore could not get it.
Just recently went to a show at the House Of Blues in Boston and they used this new ticket system I was so confused because when you pull the tickets up there is nothing there ( no bar code or anything ). When I pulled it from my apple wallet I then had to enter my phone passcode again and the ticket turned a slightly different color ( again no bar code ) and there scanner made a beep and I was in ( I still have an iPhone 6) so there should not be that many issue I would hope.
Again all the negativity was a bit much so again I apologize for you sharing information with everyone else that could help them.
My bad.
Be well.
As it turned out, the cellular service was strong and I was able to access my mobile tickets thru safari, however, the capacity of the venue is just 2,500. I have been at MSG many times where it is impossible to get a signal strong enough to send a text, much less download or send a photo. This may be a problem for people traveling from overseas if they are unable to download and install the TM USA app. Just one more thing to take into consideration.
By definition all tickets on StubHub would have to be transferred.
You'll notice that there is no way to sell tickets on StubHub to any PJ show except for NY and Den which have to allow tickets to be transferred by law.
StubHub also blocks tickets from being listed for some charity shows, like the Chris Cornell tribute show.
