    Well, stay in the Byward Market area if that is your priority.  Lots of bars and restaurants there. It's close to parliament, and will give you a real flavour of Ottawa as a city. 

    It is about a 20-25 minute drive with minimal traffic to the venue, though.  

    I am staying at the Holiday Inn Kanata, which is walking distance to a variety of restaurants, and only about 5 mins from venue.  The Kanata Centrum has a bunch of shopping and eating options, but not really a bar scene.  Stuff like 3 Brewers Restaurant, Moxies, Crazy Horse, Kelseys, etc.  

    I personally prefer the convenience of staying closer to the venue, and don't have much interest in the bar scene.  I will end up going for a few drinks at one of the brew pubs or something I can walk to from the hotel.

    I saw a few seats in section 108 on ticketmaster this morning at 10.   Nice score.  
    I'm surprised they had seats that good available.

    We are. Have an Airbnb picked out and also have a room for two nights at Wingate by Wyndham. I hear its a disaster leaving the venue after the show so we want something fairly close. Nice grab with those tickets!

    Booked Homewood Suites, little further than the Wyndham but have credit card status with Hilton for a deal. Will hope for an uber but preparing myself for an hour walk.

    I had the closest Marriott in Kanata booked in 2020 when I was going by myself.  Fast forward two f*cked up years later and my fam and I are going, I am the only one going to the show (at this point) in GA but I rented a whole house 10 mins walk from the Byward Market in Ottawa.

    This is the way.
