Does it get a Grammy nomination today? If so, something more than just album packaging?
I wouldn't be surprised if it does. Something from every album (or the album itself) has been nominated with the exception of No Code and Avocado. I could see DOTC getting a best rock performance nod or something like that.
Not that these awards mean anything (per Eddie in 1996), but I always wished Do The Evolution won best music video (lost to Ray of Light by Madonna) because the video is so awesome.
No Code got nominated for best album packaging
According to this it wasn't. But it may be wrong. This says that Vitalogy and Yield were, but No Code wasn't.
I like Gigaton. I like Pearl Jam. I realize that they are what I needed, liked, when I was younger and they are what I need, like, with more years on me now.
Disappointed in you fans. Pearl Jam didn't make the year end Billboard 200 chart. Which I figures since it was only on there for 2 weeks. But didn't make much of any year end chart. And barely
I have no idea. But #67 on the itunes rock is not a lot. I mean it was #1 on the overall iTunes album chart and Amazon and barely sold over 60k in its first week.
The Foo's album is on pace to sell 68k with a 3rd place debut. Not much more than Gigaton. Which is surprising since most stores are open. They've been doing more press. I've seen more people talking about it on Twitter.
