Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.
Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)
Friends, here's a question: would any of you read a Pearl Jam book written by a fan that was not about band history but instead about personal anecdotes and philosophies within the context of the band's albums (including album and concert reviews)?
Tomorrow the author is going to be on Live On 4 Legs and will answer a ton of specific questions about the book. If you are excited to read this, I suggest you take a listen. Links will be posted

how so? every book that is unauthorized has zero new details, and if there are, they're usually old myths that have long been debunked.

It’s a perspective that doesn’t get touched up on a lot. People usually tell the story of “how” it happened, this focuses on “why” it happened. The details are tedious and the timeline of how the story is told connecting to their world is extremely well written and I think there will be little things that maybe even if you knew about, it takes those details a step further.
check out our preview of the book in the link up above. It won’t spoil anything but it’ll give you a good direction for what to expect

This arrived yesterday and I am already on page 100 or so. I guess I had low expectations, but it is really good. I mean really good. Maybe because it is written by someone in a similar situation as me, 40 something, secretly still a relatively crazy fan, but with a family and a real job, etc. It is very well written and lots of new and interesting things. Soooo detailed about things I already knew in general, but meticulous. The author must have spent years researching. I am really looking forward to continuing to read it.
