Elderly Woman... the first song I heard by Pearl Jam... I love this song. There are clearly others that are up there, but I had to put this one down.0

hey, i agreee with you i like so much the way Eddy shouts reeeeleease meee! and makes people (at least me) go craizy, something inside me says "hey men, this is what you need" and suddenly a weight carries out from my shoulders. garden is other special song people i know in my country (colombia) like it as well especially for things he said "i will walk with my hands bound.... what a special song. have you gone to concerts? tell me about since i have seen the videos, you know south america ..... thanks0

I appreciate the post however it is a little off the topic. We are talking about the VS. record not TEN. That being said, cool that you like Release. That is my all time favorite PJ song. You should repost and talk about your favorite VS. song(s)."I'll Ride the wave where it takes me. I'll Hold the pain. RELEASE ME!"0 -
Indifference...absolutely, positively, without a doubt!0
-
come on guys, the correct answer is RVM! Vs. isnt really one of my favorites but it did have one of my favorite pj songs.0
-
Glorified G. I really like the melody and guitars on this--the lyrics are "eh," but I enjoy it musically. McCready should write more stuff for Pearl Jam, like he did on Yield.
The song that gets me most emotional is probably RVM or Small Town, though.0 -
Definitely Leash. Few songs can get me as pumped up for a fuckin revolution as Leash. It's gloriously youthful and idealistic, full of hope and righteous anger...
One of THE Pearl Jam songs, not necessarily just off VS. Along with DTE and Lukin, it makes me want to start a fuckin riot.Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -
I know I started this thread talking about Leash(which I love) but I had to also give some props to W.M.A. and RATS. I love those songs too. Well actually I love all of 'em but those two are right up there. And now that I mention it, Glorified G gets me off too."I'll Ride the wave where it takes me. I'll Hold the pain. RELEASE ME!"0

Leash is my favorite, small town is right behind though"Being undecided...it's dangerous. And I'll give you a perfect example: people with mullets, that's indecision."-EV

Today I was listening to an old import that I hadn't heard in years, and a live version of Leash came blaring through the speakers. Wow. So damn powerful. I hadn't listened to Leash in quite some time(especially live) and it was like new to me again. DROP THE LEASH! WE ARE YOUNG! So many great songs on VS. and this one takes the cake for me. What is your Fav.?
Put me down for another one of these. Live it would probably be Indifference as Leash doesnt get any live play. Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!

Favorite Song On Vs:
Live: Blood
Studio: Rats0 -
Such an awesome record--Indifference is my favorite. What if I learned Russian or something, or took up an instrument. I could speak Chinese. I'd be the screenwriter who speaks Chinese and plays the oboe. That would be cool.0

Take my hand, my child of love
Come step inside my tears
Swim the magic ocean,
