Firstly I've got to say that this is most amazing album and essential in everyone's record collection and choosing a favourite track is damn near impossible.
Album track - Daughter, crank this mother up... Are you guys ready? and Dave's percussion work is brilliant.
Live track - Blood! I love it when Ed goes insane plus Jesus greets me... looks just like me
I had it all once I gave it back

Blood is where it's at, no doubt, Daughter follows.

  • Whenever I re-enter one of my week long binges on solely pearl jam music, I've always gotta kick it off with glorified G.

It simply rocks, and I think its a definitive PJ tune. Love it!

I listened to VS this morning when I was running. I got a runner's high during "Rearview Mirror." That was a verrrrry nice floating feeling.

For me it's between RVM and Indifference, both amazing songs from an amazing album.

It really is my favorite Pearl Jam album...i think even the best album ever made by anyone...
Animal is the best song in my opinion..so much so anger and rage..in his voice and in the guitars...
    I love it...

There is no song on Vs that doesn't still amaze me. Such energy & power in that whole album. It's still my favorite of all the studio records. I wish they'd do another like it.

Well when I began this thread almost a month and a half ago (May 6th) I had no idea I would get one tenth the responces that this has generated. It has been fun to see that the love for this album is spread out over every song! I went back over all of the posts and put together a tally of votes for songs thus far.
    This is what we've got:

    Indifference~ 20 votes
    Leash & RVM~ 19 votes
    Rats~ 9 votes
    Small Town~ 8 votes
    Animal~ 7 votes
    Glorified G, Dissident, wma, Blood~ 5 votes
    Daughter~ 4 votes
    Go~ 3 votes
"I'll Ride the wave where it takes me. I'll Hold the pain. RELEASE ME!"

  • Go, Dissident, Leash and Indifference! the whole damned album is fanfuckingtabulous but yeah those are the ones that i really really love.

    so now it's

    Indifference~ 21 votes
    Leash & RVM~ 20 votes

    Small Town~ 8 votes
    Animal~ 7 votes

Although I like Go pretty much, Indifference it's my Vs. song....

Such an emotional song to me, with a very sad lyric...

How much difference, does it make?!

    * * *

I agree...I love this one, have yet to see it live but it's right up at the top of my list of songs i still have yet to see them do...right next to Leash and Garden probably just wishful thinking on those i guess =)
