Are you kidding? Twin Peaks was on in the late 80's and Seinfeld in the 90's.
Seinfeld orig air date. July 1989 Twin peaks orig air date April 1990
I didn’t watch twin peaks, hence my old comment. You think I was watching Seinfeld back then? Didn’t watch Seinfeld until mid 90’s. I didn’t even know Seinfeld existed when Twin peaks was around.
How do you put up a 2 yr show vs a 10 yr show anyways? That’s like putting Mash up to Alf.
Who was the late 80s comedian with the old "suck my dick, Willie!" bit (said impersonating Gordon Shumway of Melmac)? Not really something I can Google.
I remember that their whole bit was hilarious, too. I'm sure I taped it at some point. It may have been one of the Full House guys or a doppelgänger (in both comedic style and physical appearance).
Maybe this should go in the "things that keep you up at night" thread, but I ain't getting trapped puzzling over the search function's algorithms for longer than I should (another candidate for that other thread) while looking for that one -- plus, I don't think that @OffSheGoes35 started that thread.
It's not The Tourettes Guy, because I just watched a YouTube clip of him yelling at his grandma for not knowing who Alf was-- he looked nothing like the Full House guys. We can cross him off the list.

I googled as best I could without actually searching for "suck my dick, Willie!"
I found someone associated w/ Alf who looks like Bob Saget, his name is Paul Fusco, but I don't think he does standup. So, the "weird questions in the middle of the night" thread is a good idea.
You know, I had some pretty funny friends growing up. This could have been one their things, too, and I’m just conflating it with all the standup shows I watched.
This is a prime example of why we would make horrible insomniacs. From now on when you have questions(and you do put the quest in questions) in the middle of the night, I'm going to say GO TO SLEEP.

Alf!?!?! The Lynch mob is going to have your ass for that...once they wake up.

I loved reruns of Mash.
