The
Billy Strings 'Fall Free For All' continues this week, and we've got
four big shows from three storied venues lined up. Tune in live tonight
from War Memorial in Rochester, Fri at the Nassau Veterans Memorial
Coliseum in Uniondale, then Sat & Sun at The Met in Philly. As a
subscriber you can watch every show LIVE AND FOR FREE, from now until the run closer in D.C.
Saw Billy and his band in Stockholm yesterday. Was hoping for In Hiding, but it didn't happen. But with that said, Billy and his boys are one talented group of players. Real virtuosos...it was one hell of a show.
Was my 8th show of his in the last 2 years. 23 of the 31 songs he played last night were first timers for me. After 8 shows, i've seen 131 different and unique songs, which is only 15% of his catalogue that he's played in his entire career.
thought y'all would appreciate that math...
to keep it PJ related, as i was watching Billy last night, it occurred to me that he could probably pull off a pretty wicked Nothing Man... (i've been lucky enough to see Crown of Thorns and Small Town but give me more!!!!)
