Billy Strings - In Hiding, Soon Forget, Elderly Woman & In My Tree

Saw billy last night in NOLA.

Was my 8th show of his in the last 2 years.
23 of the 31 songs he played last night were first timers for me.
After 8 shows, i've seen 131 different and unique songs, which is only 15% of his catalogue that he's played in his entire career.

thought y'all would appreciate that math...

to keep it PJ related, as i was watching Billy last night, it occurred to me that he could probably pull off a pretty wicked Nothing Man... (i've been lucky enough to see Crown of Thorns and Small Town but give me more!!!!)

I just put in to reserve tics for his up coming shows in Boone,NC. Ticketmaster is letting u prioritize shows. Don’t know why PJ can’t do the same. Plus all tixs are non transferable. PJ needs to get on the same train as Billy.

This "train" looks the same as the 10c system, back when it was still "working" reasonably.
It spreads the wealth and is a much more equitable distribution of tickets among club members. At least most people usually get something, even if its not quite what you want.
Maybe TM is trying it on a bit smaller scale than when they took over PJ's ticket distribution. At that time they clearly could not/did not approximate the 10c system. It was a "train wreck", and was abandoned, supposedly because fans found prioritizing too confusing, ha! I always felt the reason was that TM had no interest in whether "fairness" was incorporated, and therefor were unwilling to spend the time or money to approximate the 10c system.

Thank you Billy for any input you had in trying to "get it back".
Hopefully his fans will not be too "confused" to use this new/(old to PJ) system.

I'll be very interested to see how this works out.
