If the tour kicks off in Toronto on 3/18, then Hamilton and 2 more Canada shows, the logical next stop would be NY, right? It’s a blue state and close proximity. Unless they make their way down into Detroit. Has to be NY or MI for first U.S. show.
    Michigan not a blue state.

He also finally gave Detroit the axe a few days ago too though, didn't he? So maybe NY?
My money is on NY for first U.S. show then.

Unless they play elsewhere in MI. Not sure where else that would be. Grand Rapids?

Name some blue states around the Ontario or Quebec border.
With New England out it almost has to be New York. Illinois is part of the blue wall too.  Has Chicago been ruled out? Not that I recall. Maryland is a possibility, so Baltimore is in play.

US states behind the “blue wall” for reference (from Wikipedia)
    California(55), New York (29), Illinois (20), Pennsylvania(20), Michigan (16), New Jersey (14), Washington (12), Massachusetts (11),Maryland(10), Minnesota (10), Wisconsin (10), Oregon(7), Connecticut (7), Hawaii (4), Maine (4), Rhode Island (4), Delaware (3), and Vermont(3), as well as Washington, D.C. (3)
I thought dimi said something like - not in Spring for Chicago.

Portland to Quebec City is not a bad drive at all.....hmmmm.  What did people say you need to get into Canada?  Not a full blown passport, right?

So it's likely either NJ or Maryland to kickoff US leg. My guess in Maryland.

Hawaii still technically in play since I inadvertently left it off the original list of blue states.

If there are shows in March 2020, could definitely see an announcement today or tomorrow. But agree that early January is probably more likely at this point. Have there been any rumors about Coachella? That lineup is typically announced right after the 1st of the year and obviously would fall in line with potential west coast dates in April.

The timing of the spring tour (plus rumored multiple shows in CA) makes it hard to believe Coachella is not in play.

Getting into Canada doesn't require a passport. Getting back into the US is the issue.

Bummed no Texas but I assume that at this point. Denver is usually easy from here. My brother is in PHX so that’d be cheap if it happens.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I believe the blue state thing means states that voted blue in 2016.  Grand Rapids would be fuckin SICK though.  Beer city, legal weed, and a Nice midsized arena there

Super bummed about no Texas dates.  It's amazing the band leaves so much $ and guaranteed sell outs on the table year after year.

Ohana confirmed these dates for 2020. Lineup last year wasn't announced until March.

Hamilton after Toronto in 2011 was awesome...push me pull me. Ottawa was in between the 2 TO shows and Hamilton

    THIS
  • Grand Rapids and Madison would both be "spicy" in my opinion.  Dimi, anything spicy in the spring in your opinion?  If so, any hints on where it would be?  Thanks!

I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

So it’s looking something like this I figure:
    March 18th - TO
    March 20th - Ottawa
    March 22nd - QC
    March 24th - Hamilton

I still think there are 4 Canadian shows, mostly because it hasn’t been ruled out by those in the know. Ruling out the “week of” doesn’t mean part of the week isn't possible

This is where the dates in the tweet came from. And two of the locations are purely a guess. The tweet literally means nothing.
    Glad someone noticed lol.
I personally think TO on March 18th is the start of the tour. After that, the available dates at Hamilton leave 4 days.  They obviously would fill that with 2 Shows.  Just makes sense to me with absolutely no intel whatsoever 😂
Next I’ll be quoted on that AlternativeWhatever website

So the odd numbered blue states from the list are:

    Washington

    California

    Colorado

    Minnesota

    Virginia

    Vermont

    Maine

    Rhode Island

    New Jersey

    Maryland

If they go west to east across Canada, NJ or Maryland probably make the most sense as the first state played. If they go east to west, then maybe Minnesota. Michigan seems I’m unlikely if Detroit isn’t an option.

    Fargo, ND 6/15/03 Winnipeg, MB 9/8/05 St Paul, MN 6/27/06 Chicago, IL 8/5/07 East Troy, WI 9/3/11, 9/4/11 Winnipeg, MB 9/17/11 Chicago, IL 7/19/13 St Paul, MN 10/19/14 Miami, FL 04/09/16 Tampa, FL 04/11/16 Fenway 1 & 2 08/05/16, 08/07/16Wrigley 1 & 2 08/18/18, 08/20/18Oakland 1 & 2 05/12/22, 05/13/22

Madison? Moline? Des Moines? St Paul? I'll hang up and listen.
I’m starting to think St.Paul will follow the St. Louis show. Then Denver, then off to California. Can’t rule out Portland though.

    Toronto
    Ottawa
    Quebec City
    Hamilton
    Newark
    Baltimore
    Nashville
    St. Louis
    St. Paul
    Denver

    Oakland/SF/San Jose
    LA/Anaheim
    San Diego

13  dates all pieces together from the hints.  Would be awesome.

EDIT - Pulled Portland. Even numbered blue state.
