I don’t get the feeling it’s today. Sure hope I’m wrong. I’m thinking first of January. That still gives plenty of time for April shows like years past.
Thanks to this thread my work ethic has hit an all time low today.
I planned to phone it in today anyway, but NOW...

I'm wondering if LiveNation/Ticketmaster wants the public sale to happen in early January, so 10c's ticket lottery needs to happen now. (Actually, I'm hoping that is what's happening.)
Really hoping they play some sheds! I haven't seen them in an amphitheater since West Palm 08 I think, but I'm just grateful they will be touring period!
In addition to the fact that they havent done that kind of summer tour in the U.S. in a while, I really wonder how big a factor the season ticket holders are in their decision to not play sheds. Really limits how many seats they can get for 10C.
I forgot I was at Alpine 2011 but still its been a long time since they have done a shed tour. I didn't know you can buy season tickets for shows now.
The biggest thing that gives me reason to believe it's today was the website crash/shutdown yesterday. the same thing happened in 2018 with the Home/Away shows.
My guess is that NYC is kicks things off for the US.

Looking back at the previous US tour announcements, I received an email shortly after 2pm Eastern time. I’d say if 2:30 comes and goes, then today is not the day.
I gotta see at least two shows this tour to get to sixty. Please sweet baby jesus have two shows in my area that I can make. Or just a cool city to fly to for a weekend.
I still have my Bob & Doug Mackenzie vinyl album. I wonder how much that would go for, eh?
Is it in good shape?
I certainly hope so, but haven't had it out of it's jacket in probably over 15 years.

If it is not today, I am sure there are some other astute detectives on here that have already discovered January 10th is the first full moon of 2020... If the additional announcement and/or album info was related to the moon imagery, it may make more sense to tie it to something with new beginnings- not an ending of an activity absent year. Additionally, the first moon is also known as the Wolf Moon. The story goes that people could hear the hungry wolves howling at the wolf moon outside the village walls. If there is a political connotation, I think we can make of that what we will. Plus, the band seems to love announcing things on the 10th...

If they have time to ponder to this degree then they have time to get two fan club singles out!

There's usually some crumbs and tidbits of info before the info is announced. We haven't heard much of anything yet.
I don't know how the many people involved couldn't leak some info if the announcement were today.
