RIP John Thompson. Seemed like a coach of the highest character. The moment that always stood out for me is in that 1982 NCAA Championship between Georgetown and North Carolina. After Michael Jordan hits the go-ahead shot, Fred Brown of Georgetown makes one of the most boneheaded plays ever on the next possession and passes it right to North Carolina's James Worthy, costing Georgetown a chance at winning. After the buzzer to end the game, you see Thompson with his arm around Brown trying to console him. Class-act.

Thompson did a lot for Hoya basketball.  It is a loss indeed.

A small blemish on an otherwise stellar series. They doubled the amount of players that have scored 50+ twice in the same playoff series. Jordan and Iverson were the only ones ever, in how many playoff series in NBA history? And these dudes each did it in the same series. Bravo.

Blah blah blah, I know, the sports news castors mentioned it ad nauseum...  It was impressive but neither team would be getting out of the next round.

So, the fourth quarter.  Defense was great.  Loved that.  Both teams looked like they wanted to pass more and not take the shot.  Both teams need another piece.

  • Rockets win.

Heat are thumping Giannis.  I never see the Bucks going anywhere until he gets help.

Miami was my team to go to the eastern finals but lose to the Celtics in my bracket.

Clippers finally have their entire roster in good health.

They seem very deep, and Harrell is still getting into form.

Can’t an awesome series just be an awesome series though? Plus, it’s looking like the Nuggs weren’t nearly as big of push overs as many would have thought. Don’t think they will win the series, but they only got 9 second half points from their 2 stars and they never let the Clippers get close.

The Celtics are turning out to be a better team than I thought. That's without Gordon Haywood, they'll have another option as a go to for scoring. Also superb defense by them as well especially M. Smart. I also really like when they wear those road black jerseys.

Tatum is no friggin joke.  Dude can ball.

The whole Celts team is jelling.  Danny Ainge is a genius.

So far, a year ago he could have easily blown this team with impatience. However, he held on and so far the team is playing well together through defense. That said, they haven't won squat so far to me they NEED to get to the Finals at the very least and there anything can happen. GO GREEN MACHINE GO!

Its amazing what a difference chemistry can make, swapping Kyrie for Kemba.
Pure hoops skills Kyrie is the better player, but fitting in with teammates, Kemba has him by a country mile.
