So.  Zion Williamson has been balling the past few games.  Is he going to stick around for a bit or what?

Dude just needs to keep his weight in check, avoid serious injury and get his porn star addiction under control and he can be an all NBA player regularly.

I keep hearing that line "His weight".  I don't ever recall seeing a pic of him out of shape or performing out of shape. Any game i saw with him in it he balled.

As for being healthy, I wonder if it was a sham or not?

What have you watched, just his past few games?

Dude has a weight clause in his contract to maintain the guarantees.
    He lost 25lbs since December:

Dude has definitely battled weight issues in the past

Seems to have it under control currently, hope he can keep it that way.

Same day as that pic.  This to me is not "fat" but that's a matter of opinion.  He's not Derick Coleman or Robert Tractor Trailer big.

I agree he looks fit now.  Dude can be a force if he stays on the court.Pelicans Zion Williamson Admits to Continued Struggles with Dieting

Also mentioning staying on the court.  Every Lakers game I watch and see AD hit the floor I cringe.  Is this another trip to the IR?!?

Amazing comeback by the Hawks last night. Things getting interesting in the West down the stretch. Rockets just behind Warriors for last plat in spot.

Saw a Wemby dunk on the Hornets. He like jumped from the freethrow line and windmilled it.  You aren't defending that.

Yeah pretty wild that Luka, Porzingis, and Brunson didn't have more success together.

He's played in 53 games thus far this season, and a few of the DNPs were just the team being extra cautious with him and keeping him out an extra game here and there as well as sitting out some back to backs.
Hopefully he plays every game through the Finals come playoff time.

You know i stopped following him?  53 games is good for him.  He was exciting when he first came in but calling him a unicorn was a bit much for me, lol.

Someone else I stopped following, Bradley Beal.  How has he been playing?  Someone I wanted to be a Laker very badly.

It's a shrewd move short term. By him voiding the player option for next year (37.6 Mil) and taking the extension, his salary for next year is 30Mil and the C's will save 35Mil in luxury tax next season as a result.
So, it's in essence actually a 3-year extension instead of 4 (as he had an option in place already for next season), and it's like the final year is almost free with the luxury tax savings.
Stevens is pretty good at his job.
Should he fall off the cliff in a year or 2, then it won't look great, but for now it appears to be a decent maneuver.

How come in the play in games the 7th seed seed faces the 8th seed? Shouldn't they play the 10th seed?

from my understanding it is because that game determines who the seventh seed is and the loser is playing another game to see who is eighth.

Tonight we got Pelicans vs Lakers.  Pelicans been balling and Williamson found a groove.  I still have Lakers though to make a deep run this year w a healthy AD and LBJ.
