They have cap space, most likely another lottery pick this year and a protected pick so they can draft good and still have room to play a good FA if they wanted.

Well he's clearly not physically ready to defend a guy like Embiid yet. Didn't see that game, don't know if he was the primary defender on Lion Killer most of the night or what, but he needs to (and will) put some meat on his bones over the next couple years to stand up to the physicality of the NBA.

If he can run the floor and outside shoot he could play stretch 4 and stay out of the paint on offense and get help down low on defense if needed.

But players will ultimately go where they get paid the most. If SA pays, free agents will come.
