Seahawks launch new gameday poster series by Ames Bros

SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks are launching a fun new gameday poster series for the 2019 season.

It will include limited edition posters that will represent each of the eight regular-season home games!

The collection is being curated by the Ames Brothers, the group that designs Pearl Jam concert posters.

Each poster will be designed by a different artist.

The posters cost $25 and can be bought on the Seahawks app.

All proceeds will go to local arts and education charities.

    I think a lot of teams are doing these. I saw a tweet from the Jets back in the Spring soliciting artists to send in examples of their work as they were looking to release game day posters.

    good for the artists, but personally, i'd never buy a poster for a sporting event.  rock concerts are a different story

    I like the Seattle poster but 🏈 is the most overrated, spoiled brat sport in the world. Followed a close second to the NBA and MLB. One word for all those sports. BORING!!!!!

    I love baseball in person. But on TV, between the commercials and the god awful announcers it’s a chore. 

    Side note. The year the Red Sox won the World Series and Pearl Jam was the soundtrack to the series was awesome. All PJ and a Sox World Series win. Color me happy for sure.

    I love watching a soccer game but I don’t follow it at all. Know rules from my daughter playing for years. Hate the flops though. So dumb.

    Honestly rather watch women's soccer.  They don't act like little bitches made of glass when someone gets within 3" of them.

    I’m not a football fan but those posters are awesome. Would definitely buy one if I attended a game.

    I’ve in the opposite boat, have been a Hawks season ticket holder for many years. Am taking my son to his first game today, and am stoked to get him a poster (even if it is arguably the weakest one so far). There’s so much one could do with an ocean/pirate/bird theme so a little underwhelmed by this one. But it’s a great program and I hope they continue it next year and for many to come!
