Dave A is so amazing he even wrote Betterman.

We'll never know but it is interesting how writing credits and royalties from things like this work.  Like he wrote some of those songs (I'm too lazy to look up if in fact true) and is there a % deal or was it a buyout sort of situation?

He gets $ for any song he has a writing credit on and performance $ for any song he plays on, which in this case is all of them.
