    Hi all,
I am selling this rare Yield promo sign I got some time ago from a very famous Spanish journalist. I live in Spain but I am going to the US on Thursday, so if you are interested I could take it with me and I can send it to you from the States and I am also taking a road trip through Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Nashville, New Orleans, Memphis and St. Louis areas so maybe I can hand deliver it.

I am asking for $500 plus shipping, but if you have Emek's Portland 2013 poster, I can reduce the price. I can also send more pictures if you are interested.

If you are in the US, please be message me asap.

If you have Emek Portland, you’ll reduce the price? I think you mean you’ll add money to buy the Portland!

True, but there were a couple of other recent sub-$500 sales per ebeans. And I saw that someone traded one for a moleskin

6 month average of around $650 is more instructive than pointing to outliers and damaged prints

Not every trade has to match up dollar for dollar.

True, but OP is asking for $ on top of the Emek.

Not really. The fact that three people within the last month have sold their Emek Portland prints for a net return in the $400 range disproves the premise of the post I was responding to -- that Emek Portland invariably goes for at least $600.

The only reason prints went for $400 was because they were damaged. Last undamaged sold Aug 3 for $800

Nope. The one before the Aug 3 was July 31 for $400, mint/near mint. On July 13, $480, excellent condition.

Yes... I’m not trying to say the deal is likely to be made under those terms.  Probably very unlikely.  Just that a trade doesn’t have to matchup dollar for dollar every time.

It is hilarious, exhausting, and completely typical of this forum that you guys each isolate your own data points, ignore the other ones, and are bickering over the poles

It’s comical that there’s a peanut gallery to begin with. Let the seller shoot for the stars. They will either get their price or they won’t. Price police always makes me laugh.

I say pick a price, throw it at the wall and see if it sticks. If it doesn’t sell you’re probably too high.

It's a forum, so people are going to comment. With some of the tactics that are used, I think it's healthy for people to chime in. Using your same logic, if the original price is fair someone will get the deal done regardless. Plenty of other high profile places where you can sell in peace and quiet if that's your thing.

I'm not ignoring that most recent sales have been $600+. The question is whether that is always the case, such that the OP is wasting his time even trying. If it exhausts you, you don't have to chime in.

Everybody wants more for what they have, human nature. I'd much rather have the promo due to its actual rarity as compared to a print that who knows how many were even made. If someone wanted to trade a 13' Portland for a 18' Seattle and both parties were satisfied, good for them.

Exactly. Everything sells at the right price.

Can you imagine having to deal with this logic in real life?

"Yeah, he kept shouting that it might take me 6 hours to get to the airport because there was 5 hours of traffic once in 2005."

Of course. I get it. And I’ve seen the same tactics you’re likely referring to.  It’s just funny to me when someone gets their chops busted over pricing too high. When they get zero bites, they’ll know they’re too high without us chiming in. And to be fair, you weren’t calling out anyone’s price at all.

Right on. For what it's worth, I only popped back on here regularly a year or two ago. Hadn't really posted much for ages and Lost Dogs/(trading/selling on here) feels way different than what I remember. I used to feel the same way you do, so I definitely get it.

Some people just don't get it...Pricing that is...

I for one love the sign.  I have one and it's a prized PJ possession of mine.

    Good luck OP.
