Getaway

I've been lucky enough to hear it live twice and both times they nailed it. Tough song. Great lyrics. In all honesty this song could fit in any period of their catalogue. I get why certain songs never catch on, or some fade away but this song shouldn't fit in either category. It's just solid start to finish.

Same here. Been fortunate to catch this one live a couple times myself as well, and was never disappointed on either performance. I think this song sounds so much better live than it does recorded.

My favorite off the album. I think...

Do not feel they nailed it live, when I got the chance to hear it. Love it though:

I agree with this.  Absolutely love the song, and it's sweet live and all, but something tells me it could be even better.

I proves they have the ability to do cool/groovy songs that feel fresh though.

Say what you will about Sirens and Lightning Bolt but they feel very been-there-heard-that.

That's why I have questioned the production for the last two albums

yeah I'm not a fan of either.  LB doesn't rank as low as Sirens for me but it doesn't do anything for me

Like the song on the album a lot, but really sounded bad at Wrigley live in 2018 IMO.

Love this song, probably my favorite off of Lightning Bolt, wish they would play it more often, put it into a more regular rotation so it becomes more familiar for them to play!

Getaway and Pendulum are the top of the LB album imo. Nothing else is close really though there are some other good songs that I enjoy.

Yes. Those two songs are head and shoulders above any other song off LB.

I think Infallible works with those two as well. I love that jam. It's got the Army Reserve tempo.
