Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, and everyone at WE Day, want to spread Eli’s message. A simple two-letter word can open up doors, help us raise awareness, and cure EB. The WE Day special will be aired on ABC, Friday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

Featuring host Neil Patrick Harris and chart-topping performers and iconic celebrities, including Mahershala Ali, Chance The Rapper, Selena Gomez, Joe Jonas, Bill Nye, Natalie Portman, Lilly Singh, Hailee Steinfeld, Pentatonix, Meghan Trainor, and Eddie Vedder.

WE Day is an annual series of stadium-sized youth empowerment events organized by WE Charity (formerly known as Free The Children), a Canadian charity founded by brothers Marc and Craig Kielburger.

Oh, so emotional right now, just got done watching the whole event.  There is so much need out there, but the message was clear to me, it takes a village.  I've always known that.  I do what I can, I get by but there are other things you can do.  I regularly donate blood.  I donate $ when I can.  I think I'm a good person, but I know I can be a better person.  Something to think about after watching the last hour.  We can all do more.
