Films known to be bad you actually think are good

With the premise of "Jason Voorhees in space" I think this one was fun and tongue-in-cheek enough to make it work. I really enjoy it:

I remember the press on “Postman” was really bad and it only took about $20M at the box office at the time.  But I really dug it.  Good movie, I should watch it again.
FUNFACT - Met Costner on a flight to LA in April. Had a quick chat. Nice fella

    The Last Air Bender.

Very eye appealing visual effects.  Loved it.  But I, however, never read the comic or saw the original cartoon and those that did said it was awful.

Agree, I don't put that as known to be bad.
Clerks, Clerks II, Mallrats, Chasing Amy
    Hilarious!

I know it is, and you know it is.  But the general population does not agree with us.

    Mallrats isn't good.
    Still love it.

Some great selections here, 1000% agree with Con-Air, 13 Ghosts (awesome SFX), and the Postman.  That one is actually a damn good film, popular or not.

Anybody remember The Frighteners with Michael J Fox?
That's my pick, check it out if you haven't seen it.

    Dead and Breakfast as well.

If we imagine this thread as an awards ceremony category, then the lifetime achievement award goes to Pauly Shore.
    Next year, Rob Schneider.

I remember this being a decent thriller. Sharon Stone was a bit cringey. But entertaining and not all that bad. I mean, the first one is more cult-good than good-good to begin with.

The Frighteners! Holy shit I thought of that movie in ages. Con-Air is also a good bad movie.
Eli Roth movies are generally regarded as bad but I love them.

Insert any Jerry Bruckheimer fill here. Also, speaking of Costner, I really enjoyed Waterworld. And while we're on the subject of Pauly Shore, Encino Man was quite enjoyable.

Big Trouble in Little China, The Burbs and The Golden Child were all movies I loved as a kid.

I thought Bulletproof (Sandler & Waynans) and Con-Air were both enjoyable movies.

I recently watched it for the first time in like 25 years because it was on Amazon Prime and didn't find it near as funny. I remember really liking it when I was younger, but I wanted to shut it off halfway through. Just gets dull.

I f’n love Constantine.  It one of those that if it’s on the screen, I’m sitting down to watch.  I think Peter Stormare’s satan is one of the best ever.

Actually had a talk about this just 1-2 weeks ago with someone who mentioned Constantine as an underrated movie.

Haven't rewatched it since the cinema. Wasn't Tilda Swinton in it also?

It would be a nice double-feature with Arnolds End of Days.

Yes, she was.  She played the archangel Gabriel.  I liked End if Dats as well.  Gabriel Byrne was another excellent satan.
