    In some seriousness, my stomach used to have a dull ache to it that could last for weeks, even though I defecated regularly. 

Fiber seems to have made it better.

Don't even consider the cheap unflavored stuff.

That's the one problem with Benefiber- it's unflavored, but not cheap! I always stock up when it goes on sale- which is not often.  Really does the trick though.
