Would seem so - drugs are the reason I love OTR.  Were it not for them I would likely rank U&T higher.  (Or perhaps would not have listened to this record as frequently altogether)
It's a terrific single, and I don't think of The Dark Side of the Moon in those terms.

If "Us and Them" goes this round, there's no way I'll be able to vote in the next round. I'm handcuffed at that point. With the exception of "Money" and "Us and Them," all these songs depend on each other to comprise a stellar concept album.

Sure but it's also boring as hell. Money on the other hand is awesome. But to each their own I guess.

    Us And Them
I read what I wrote and honestly, no matter how I try to say what I mean to say, it just isn't coming out the right way so....I like the song, not the weakest link but not thinking it would hit as a fan favorite here anyhow. (Not that this is about favorites.)

I just finished listen to the Dark Side run on Pulse. I take back my earlier vote of Us and Then from the first round. It’s a good song.

Anyways, I have decided it is impossible to declare a winner in this contest. It’s either the whole album, or none at all.

Now it gets hard! Yikes. I hate voting for songs I love. Oh, and I don't get the dislike for Great Gig. Durga McBroom's hauntingly beautiful vocals always slay me. She uses her voice as an instrument that can really convey emotion. Or maybe I'm just stoned.

    This doesn't answer your question...
but here are the stats on Brain Damage:
    1) According to livefootsteps...
Brain Damage has only been performed at a PJ show once at the 2010 Hard Rock Calling festival in London.
Looks like it was an "intro" for Corduroy at this show.

    2) PJdb (the only site I know of that tracks EV solo shows) says Brain Damage has been performed 33 times & played as a tag to Sometimes 12 times at EV shows.
I've only heard it live once...
in Jacksonville back in 2012 and it was not a full version.

    On The Run
For me, Brain Damage eeks out Us and Them by the barest of margins. Us and Them is one of the only songs (besides the incredibly annoying Money) that can be a stand alone track. But as far as prog music - it is beautiful. It's like voting down Take A Pebble. I don't see how Us and Them is getting so many votes over other songs at this point. But music is subjective.

It is pretty disconcerting to be listening to a song and then it clicks off to be finished by another song which is really part of that song, but it is what it is.

On The Run is a dream acid song - even sober you can feel like you are floating through a tunnel in space as things fly past you on different dimensions. But it doesn't have the same kick without the hallucinogenics.  And the piano and the female vocals, in OTR & GGITS are prog staples. Piano is not stellar as in other bands but it fits with the entire trippy feel of this album.

It really is a stand alone complete concept album, but one must do what one must do.

Time is not my favorite; although it is a damn good song.  Listening to this album reminds me of how much I have neglected my prog rock bands that I used to be completely immersed in for years. Yes and ELP would be tops for me but there are so many more, including PF. These bands were my first concerts, along with other of their ilk.

    Good choice/hard choice @MedozK !

Us and Them kinda underrated I feel.

I know it's a challenge and I'm not necessarily knocking anyone's vote, but the song is one of Floyd's best: musically and lyrically. Water's last tour even named after it.

Great single, killer tour, but its departure from the sonic themes of Dark Side of the Moon is why I voted it off the album.

I, like you two guys, thought it was awesome. I saw TDSOTM tour and The Wall tour (twice). I liked the Us And Them tour best of all.

On to Round 2 to determine the GREATEST song on the album 'Dark Side of the Moon' by Pink Floyd
Eliminated Round 1 -  Speak To Me, Any Colour You Like, and Money

For anyone new to the game:
You are going to pick the song that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 3 days I remove the three (3) songs with the most votes.
We will then move on to Round 3  - Remember you are voting to eliminate songs from contention.

Lets have fun with this. Remember debating and discussing why your right and others are wrong is always fun.
I don't know any of these songs...

    Us And Them
There are the obvious 3 that will and should be on their way to a final and then there's the not so clear next 3 and then that 1 that should be a part of another. After much debate and listening to each of them a few times, I am going to have to go with Us and Them. Good song, but I really enjoy the sound of On the Run and Gig a lot more. Both are songs you can just get immersed in where as Us and Them seems like a more serious endeavor that requires a different type of listening. That probably makes no sense, but it's all I got. Very hard choice though.

As a side, I decided to start a track radio of Brain Damage and this is what was generated. Love it.

    It's a hopeless situation...
