On to Round 2 to determine the GREATEST song on the album 'Dark Side of the Moon' by Pink Floyd
Eliminated Round 1 - Speak To Me, Any Colour You Like, and Money
For anyone new to the game:
You are going to pick the song that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 3 days I remove the three (3) songs with the most votes.
We will then move on to Round 3 - Remember you are voting to eliminate songs from contention.
Lets have fun with this. Remember debating and discussing why your right and others are wrong is always fun.

However..Great Gig was an extremely close contender, but the piano really helped save it for me. Plus it's trippy as Hell. The vocal notes in Great Gig certainly do hit notes of discord that hurt my ears at several points however the build up and flow and otherwise pure awesomeness of that song saved it for me.
I think so. If Brain Damage and Eclipse were combined I think that would make it a very hard choice.
2016: Lexington and Wrigley 1
"Money" and "Us and Them" seem like the result of that old Tom Petty lyric: "Their A&R man said, 'I don't hear a single.'"

If "Us and Them" goes this round, there's no way I'll be able to vote in the next round. I'm handcuffed at that point. With the exception of "Money" and "Us and Them," all these songs depend on each other to comprise a stellar concept album.

Anyways, I have decided it is impossible to declare a winner in this contest. It’s either the whole album, or none at all.
but here are the stats on Brain Damage:
1) According to livefootsteps...
Brain Damage has only been performed at a PJ show once at the 2010 Hard Rock Calling festival in London.
Looks like it was an "intro" for Corduroy at this show.

2) PJdb (the only site I know of that tracks EV solo shows) says Brain Damage has been performed 33 times & played as a tag to Sometimes 12 times at EV shows.
I've only heard it live once...
in Jacksonville back in 2012 and it was not a full version.

It is pretty disconcerting to be listening to a song and then it clicks off to be finished by another song which is really part of that song, but it is what it is.
On The Run is a dream acid song - even sober you can feel like you are floating through a tunnel in space as things fly past you on different dimensions. But it doesn't have the same kick without the hallucinogenics. And the piano and the female vocals, in OTR & GGITS are prog staples. Piano is not stellar as in other bands but it fits with the entire trippy feel of this album.
It really is a stand alone complete concept album, but one must do what one must do.
Time is not my favorite; although it is a damn good song. Listening to this album reminds me of how much I have neglected my prog rock bands that I used to be completely immersed in for years. Yes and ELP would be tops for me but there are so many more, including PF. These bands were my first concerts, along with other of their ilk.
Good choice/hard choice @MedozK !
