I was watching back at oslo 14. Made me happy and sad.

I think you hit the nail on the head Rob. Maybe the song is about wonder, mystique, being left in awe after a powerful experience. It’s a zen like recap after a night of otherworldly, unexplainable experience. It’s the morning after a long night of tribal dancing or an Ayahuasca ceremony lead by shamans. A night of total communion, nobody fighting over territory. The sun is slowly rising. 

It’s 5pm, the calm before the storm, but he will be battle tested before night’s end. He will have to confront the self, the ego, and its flaws. The elements will slowly set in and he will find out how godly he and everybody else is, if he hasn’t found out already. We are the consciousness and energy that spawns out of nothingness.

He realizes he needs to connect back to his lineage, his heritage, his roots, and the land if he wants to evolve forward. He can feel the presence of the spirits who have completed the journey before him, have stuck around and are trying to convey the message that needs to be conveyed. He can pick up on the messages in this altered state.

It’s 6am now, the elements have subsided and he’s left in awe. He’s fully immersed himself into that parallel world and wants more. He reconvenes with his fellow companions and wonders what their experience was like, if it was similar to his. They explain their visions and he explains his. They were the same visions!

We have to cut ties with the fabricated, scripted narrative and get back in touch with mother earth’s narrative. We have to follow these ancient ties and our primal instincts. The earth is shifting and we need to shift along with it or else we find ourselves out of balance. The human race is the strangest tribe, pj community is the strangest tribe, people of the jungle the strangest tribe, people of the city even stranger lol. It’s evolution baby, all great people, godspeed.
