I've never been to an Eddie solo show but I could see some drunk dude shouting "play Spin the Black Circle!" or something like that in an attempt to be funny. 

This actually happened in Newark, 2008 -- guy kept yelling "Play Porch!" and then came on here afterwards, posting in the fanview thread, "I don't know if you all heard me --- I was the guy yelling 'Play Porch!'" As I noted then, there were several guys outside of NJPAC after the show looking for the yeller and wanting to kick his a$$.

Bottom line: NOBODY is going to an Ed solo show to hear *you* sing (or talk, or yell), unless you actually are EV.

I was 2 rows directly in front of him.  It was the worst.

Great show though!  I have heard many recordings from that tour and they all have TONS of talkers and shout outs. For some reason, people think that Ed is there to talk to them and play their requests. Cant believe that was more than 10 years ago!

If you are near the back, you get the people having full blown conversations about random shit. The good thing is they talk louder when the band plays a loud one!
