    Amy, Pete doing well tonight

Warren not doing poorly. Bernie is Bernie. I wish he’d ago away and stop yelling at me for all the ills and wanting to take my $
to pay off student loans and pay for illegal immigrant and anyone that shows up at the border to get free health care.

    Ha!

Glad to hear Amy doing well.  I like her.

Beto is a robot. Awful. A few other interesting moments.

Surprisingly Marianne Williamson is having a very strong night. Won’t matter for her, but really a nice performance.  The others are mostly throwaways.

Bernie will obviously still be in the race, too bad.
Warren will still be in...but again, very liberal and angry like Bernie.
Pete should have improved himself I think, but I’m a bit biased.
I wonder if Amy has done enough to help propel her...perhaps.

The rest should save their $ and our time. But that’s like, just my opinion man.

Marianne Williamson is absolutely killing the debate. Like you said, it won't matter, but I think it's great that she's saying what she is, and I hope some of it is resonating with people.

Thought it was ok. Seemed like Bullock got a lot of time. Nothing really changes. I thought Pete and Warren underperformed. Public option vs. Medicare for all will be the debate going forward.

Warren just brought up Indian reservations in her final thoughts. Made me chuckle.

Agree with you both about Williamson, but I don’t think the ‘average joe’ comprehends what she is saying.

Bonnie and Clyde. Mulder and Scully. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. On Tuesday night it was Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders who, defying predictions that they would turn on each other, instead formed a leftwing tag team against the forces of moderation at the latest Democratic primary debate on Tuesday.

Interesting to hear what the twitter crowd says, but I think Delaney made a pretty strong case for why Medicare for all is a bad idea as far as electability. I tend to agree that throwing 180 million(?) off their private healthcare might be a bad idea. Delaney has a plan for affordable “free” healthcare, just a different approach.

Lol, no problem. It will be interesting when Warren is the nominee and tells Union members and blue collar folks across the rust belt they have to give up their healthcare they fought for.
OJ has almost a million followers, I wonder what he thinks about Medicare for all?

    I find this very concerning:
    https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/30/politics/who-won-democratic-debate/index.html

Winners from last nights debate: *Donald Trump: An extended conversation about eliminating all private insurance. A top-tier candidate -- Warren -- fully embracing decriminalizing illegal immigration. All of that is music to the President's ears. Remember that his poll numbers -- job approval that has never broken 50%, etc. -- suggest that there is no positive message that wins Trump a second term. Which means he needs as much fodder as possible to cast Democrats as deeply out of touch and representative of a creeping socialism. He got plenty on Tuesday night.

When the field gets down to around four people I will start watching the debates but I just can't stand watching 11 adults all talking over one another.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

They really should have done three debates with six candidates each. 11 people all at once is too many. You’d think they would have learned from the 2016 republican debates.

I like this line a lot:
Former Maryland Rep. John Delaney said Democrats should “run on real solutions, not impossible promises.”
cough cough Sanders   cough cough Warren

Would have helped the candidates standing in the shadows outside of the spotlights a lot more. And might have given the zero-percentages folks that hasn't been media darlings a chance to actually be seen and become a name.
