    The Battle of Evermore
I still remember hearing Black Dog for the first time.  I'm pretty sure we were going to or coming home from church and it came on the radio.  That would have been around 1980 or so I'm guessing.  I thought it was the greatest song I had ever heard.

Follow up question: is going to to California a very popular song amongst zep fans or popular to Pearl Jam fans because of given to fly?

Going to California is very popular with Zep fans because it is a f'n awesome song. Has nothing to do with Pearl Jam. Almost every person knew of the song, Going to California, before Pearl Jam even existed, including the members of Pearl Jam.

Arguably. And the arguments for the other albums have been going on between Zep fans forever.

Stairway to Heaven is on Zoso and it became a rock and roll legend so that gives the album more attention but there are arguably comparable or better albums.

I may have to take my location out of my heading after your arguably insane pick for weakest song.

I actually learned to play that one on guitar back in 98 so I know it well. Awesome song.

So then wtf is your problem?

Why didn’t you delve deeper and love Zeppelin? Go listen to Good Times Bad Times.

    Report back.

I can say this about Led Zeppelin: at least they’re not Greta Van fucking Fleet.

    Stairway to Heaven
A brief Led Zeppelin conversation I had with my father in 1996:

Pop:  "I remember when I was on your sister's graduation committee.  We got The Led Zeppelin to play for her prom!"

Me:  "Well actually, Pop, the band that played for her prom was Quicksilver Messenger Service.  And the name is just 'Led Zeppelin', no The."

Pop:  "Ohhhhhh no, I was on the committee!  It was The Led Zeppelin, with the The!"

    Me:  "Oooooooookay, Pop."

I would say it is their best double album as well.

Their best album though? Hmmm. II and IV and Houses are all contenders.

    I always wondered about that?

A subtle part of the movie demonstrating what a f**kup he was? Director’s error?

I'm curious as to what is that movie.  Doesn't look familiar.
